• We’re bringing over Oshkosh to the hosted environment.

• Training System is going over to the March Pack next week.

  • This will be a required update.

  • No longer creating serial numbers for academies. We want them all over to the Hosted Environment. Within the Year

• Transmission times have been steadily increasing. This is dependent on the number of agencies in the hosted environment.

  • Mondays are always delayed due to the amount of citations over the weekends that need to be processed.

  • 2000 forms processed will happen sometime this summer most likely.

• Ecitation is getting an upgrade.

  • They are testing transmission currently.

  • There is a phased transfer happening. A new website is coming up in the Fall (august).

  • This most likely will take about a year to get everything retransmitted over to the new system.

  • One of the big problems is just understanding how the LEO’s process works for forms.

  • We will update when TraCS is going to the new eCitation Website

• WiStar - If agencies want to share data they can create community maps to better analyze highway safety.

  • Currently testing it - 4/5 Pilot agencies are looking to send data for us to try out.

  • If your non-hosted agency wishes to be a part of this as well feel free to send an email to BadgerTracs@dot.wi.gov to participate.

  • Focus on Madison Beltline FLEX Lane and the enforcement of the Beltline. EX. WIStar would help see all the citations, traffic stops, and warnings for this area.

  • Contacted TEG to work with the FBI to better send data.

• Baseline Testing

  • New TraCS is coming…tentatively.

• Fall Pack

  • Incident Form - Prescription Drug monitoring feedback. Instructions on the Prescription Drug Monitoring program.

  • Alcohol Form - Making Changes for the Blood Draw. They requested some changes - Adding some Fields for them.

  • UFAD - Making changes for the DOJ but also some suggestions for ECD’s and the fields associated.

  • New Form - Vehicle custody form. Discussing later today.

  • Location Group - Would like to discuss changes for 2025.

    • Street Field types. Get rid of the agency fields

    • Talk more about it in September

  • Working on the Map pack. We’ve received the new WISLR Files. Going through testing on that currently. There’s been some hiccups. Need to repackage and redistribute.

    • We’re giving everyone the full state instead of each section.

• Fall Pack 2025

  • POLD Forms - Place of Last Drink. The Agency has a deadline of August for all the fields they want included in that form. They are considering WISTAR. Some more information to analyze for the community

  • DOJ - Search warrant is still under consideration. New Form information needed before August 2024 for release in 2025

• In September we most likely will need an in-person meeting as we’ll be designing forms.

• Inventory group Changes:

  • Key location at time of tow now a drop-down field

  • Inventoried location automatically opened.

    • Currently these are Prepopulated

      • Note for Geri - Allow these to be deleted afterwards.

    • Last one is check location

      • This is Free Text essentially.

    • Add up to 10 Inventoried Locations.

• Vehicle Custody Report

  • Groups disappear if there is no information for the individual. Duplicates do not show up.

  • If there is an inventory it will put all the inventory information on the report.

• Any type of force will be here now including Tasers etc.

• New field options -

  • Was this an ambush incident (Pending)

  • Officer Group - Employed 35+ Hours per week (Pending)

  • Did an officer approach a subject (Pending)

    • These options can be preliminary forms. They cannot be final transmitted. To go to final these need to be Yes/No/Unknown.

• ECD Subgroup - New Field that appears when ECDs are used.

  • These are FAC Fields. Not required by the DOJ These are completely optional. Requested by some agencies to track their ECD usage. Changing the ECD Title to Optional right in the Field.

    • Anything optional could be a different color to make it stand out.

    • Could the ECD Subgroup be an agency enable filed, unavailable unless the agency opts in?

      • Will look into it.

    • Geri Note - Add Deployment Successful option of N/A - Ex. Pulled the Taser but didn’t shoot.

      • Poll within Chat 4 - Yes.

    • Signature will not be required but the name is still important.

      • Geri Note - Fill out Crash Severity if indicated in the Crash Form if it was replicated from that.

• Should we limit statues on Alcohol to only the ones in the alcohol priority list + DNR Alcohol statues

  • No - There are cases where there are statues outside the Alcohol priority list.

  • Wanting to Mark Confidentiality as “Act 235” to hide users from databases.

  • Include Safe at Home Act within this proposal as well.

  • Work with TEG to make sure it blocks certain things.

  • Would be interesting to see what other states may be doing with the National Model. Believe all states are dealing with this type of issue
