Encode Form Number
Encode Form Number
The encoder is used to calculate what a form number will be given the document serial number. Normally this is used during troubleshooting when a need arises to advance a form’s document number. Special care should be given when dealing with form numbers
Open the decoder by clicking the Decoder Button on the Tools Ribbon
Choose the Form Type from the Drop down
Type your agency number (should have defaulted.)
Type the Machine ID
Type the Serial number, up to Six digits.
The encoded number appears in the Document number box
