Clearing a Status

Clearing a Status

There are form statuses that prevent the form from being modified:

  • Completed

  • Accepted

  • Failed Transmission

  • Rejected

To change the status of Accepted to prevent transmission, change the status to Completed or click on the Clear Status button on the Home tab.

To edit a form in the status of Completed, Accepted or Failed Transmission, you must first clear the status.

  1. Select the form and in the Forms Manager or Forms Viewer.

  2. Click the Clear Status button. The form will revert back to its Violated, Issued or Voided statuses and if in rejected status will clear the rejection message.

Note: The reason for rejecting will not be completely removed and can be found in the form log. If the form cannot be cleared of its status, the following error message will appear.

Only forms with the status of Rejected can be edited without clearing. A feature was added in Fall 2023 where they see the rejected message when clearing and editing the form. The officer will now receive the following message.
