Task 4.4.2: Uninstalling TraCS Training Version

Purpose: This task describes the steps needed to uninstall the Training version of TraCS on a computer which has the TraCS production version installed on it. Failure to follow these steps could result in Production version being broken.

1. Understanding where TraCS versions are normally located.

   1. Production version (don’t tough)

      1. C:\Program Files (x86)\TraCS

      2. C:\ProgramData\TraCS ( ProgramData folder could be hidden)

   2. Training version

      1. C:\ProgramData\TraCSTrainingOffice (Could say TraCSTrainingMobile)

      2. C:\Program Files (x86)\TraCSTrainingOffice (Could say TraCSTrainingMobile)

2. Uninstalling the Training version only

   1. Don’t use the Control Panel-Add & Remove Programs because this will break the TraCS production version of TraCS on that computer.

   2. Delete the two TraCS training folders.

      1. C:\ProgramData\TraCSTrainingOffice (Could say TraCSTrainingMobile)

      2. C:\Program Files (x86)\TraCSTrainingOffice (Could say TraCSTrainingMobile)
