Modify FTP End-Shift Method
Modify FTP End-Shift Method |
---|
Did You Know?
FTP is an insecure transmission protocol. The user id and password are sent over the Internet in plain text.
SFTP and FTPS are secure transmission protocols and should be used instead of FTP if your server supports it.
TraCS can transmit using FTP, FTPS, or SFTP. The end-shift/start-shift data files are always encrypted regardless of which protocol you use.
If you use FTP to transmit your start-shift/end-shift data and need to modify settings related to FTP, you will need to update these instructions.
Note: Consult your FTP administrator if you are unsure of the FTP settings to use here.
