End Shifting

Start-shift/End-shift is the process by which data is transferred between computers running the standard mobile client and the TraCS database. Typically the standard mobile client is found on laptops running in squad cars. 

If your agency uses the web service client in the squad cars and does not use the standard mobile client then Start-shift/End-shift does not apply to your agency and you should disregard.
