Update Transmission Status

 

There will be times when eCitation has a citation but your court or DA can’t download for some reason. If you try and transmit the citation again to eCitation, the citation will fail and show a status of Failed Transmission in Forms Manager. The only way to get the status to Transmitted is to use the Update Trans Status button.

Important: the “Update Trans Status” button does not send any data electronically; it only updates the form’s status. Update Trans Status is a euphemism for “I printed the citation and handed it to the clerk.”

To update the failed transmission status

  1. Highlight the form in the Forms Manager.

  2. Click the Update Transmission Status button in the Data Transfer Ribbon ribbon.

  3. The following dialog box will appear. Click Yes to continue or No to cancel the status change.
