Wisconsin Safety and Transportation Analysis Resource (WiSTAR)

WiSTAR is Wisconsin Traffic Records Coordinating Committee (TRCC) funded product that will use federal grant funding to have the UW TOPS Lab develop and host a repository for traffic safety data. WiSTAR will also be designed with linkages to additional data sources that can be leveraged for purposes of enhancing traffic safety.

WiSTAR will bring together information such as crash data that is currently made available through Community Maps and couple it with traffic enforcement data contributed by Wisconsin law enforcement agencies from traffic enforcement forms in TraCS.

The following TraCS forms have been identified as the top priority for being shared with WiSTAR:

• DNR Crash
