Wisconsin Motor Vehicle Crash Open Data

The primary purpose of this page is to develop and document procedures pertaining to the sharing of crash data outside of the Department. We expect to satisfy most requests with open data, hence the name of this page. But this space can be expected to cover a broad range of requests including:

  • Annual Statewide Statistical Extracts

  • Subscriptions to Weekly PII and Vehicle extracts

  • Open Records Requests for Crash Reports

  • Requests for crash data analyses of tabulations.
