Checking Equipment Out

Checking Equipment Out

To check equipment out:

  1. In TraCS 10

  2. Navigate to the Equipment ribbon Click the Check Out Button.

  3. A new equipment inventory form will open.

  4. Enter a current serial number using the Master Index button (Note: When Checking out equipment always use the Master index to find the correct piece of equipment)

    1. Tab to Serial number field

    2. Click Master Index in the databar.

    3. Choose

      ,

      and any other choices used to make your search for equipment easier.

    4. Click Search

    5. Highlight equipment to check out and click Apply

    6. The equipment Action of Check out will default and all the information on the piece of equipment will be auto filled.

    7. The action of Assign to Case can also be chosen if using just for a case.

  5. Enter a check out reason

  6. Enter your Primary officer ID(or the TraCS ID of the user checking out the equipment.

  7. Click Validate

  8. Click OK

  9. The equipment is now checked out.
