Task 3.23.2: Create Additional Diagram Palettes
Purpose: Creates additional diagram palettes to use when creating diagrams on the crash form using the TraCS diagramming tool.
Requirements: Master computer.
Start TraCS.
Sign in with system administration account.
Select the Tools tab on the ribbon menu.
Select Configuration and Distribution and then select Symbol Designer
The symbol designer tool will launch. Consult the help system included with the symbol designer tool for detailed instruction on the use of the symbol designer.
Once you have completed, creating your symbol palettes, click the Publish Palettes item under Configuration and Distribution.
Symbol palettes that are published are copied to the network TraCS folder and will be automatically packaged into the distribution files for deployment to other machines. (See task 4.1 for more information on distribution files.)
Click the Change Settings item under Configuration and Distribution.
Add the new palette to the list of palettes in the Default Palette List for Diagram Tool field, separating the palettes with a comma.
Validate the form to save your changes.
