Creating an Inventory of Unassigned Citation Numbers
Creating an Inventory of Unassigned Citation Numbers
Prior to installing citation numbers on Mobile and Office computers, your agency will need an inventory of unassigned citation numbers stored in the TraCS database. These will then be assigned to Mobile and Office computers as needed.
To create this initial inventory, you will either need to Order Citation Numbers from EARS.
To make citation numbers usable on individual Mobile and Office computers, you will need to either Install Citation Numbers or Bundle Citation Numbers depending on whether the Mobile or Office computer can connect to your TraCS office database. The bundle citation numbers method makes use of thumb drives and TraCS start-shift to deliver citation numbers and is a little bit more involved than a standard citation number install.
