Task 6.4: Separate the Document Backup folder from the Main Drive

Have your server admin add a second drive at least 50 GB, you need to take in consideration of how large your system is, the Hosted Environment has this drive set at 80GB, but they have over 250 agencies with over 2000 computers connected to the system.

Once the drive is accessible change the C:\ProgramData\TraCS\Settings\Settings.ini file on the IIS server

• AutoBackupFormsinDBModeDaysToKeep= How many days you would like to keep backup files.

Open

• AutoBackupForms_Path=\\MYServer\Documentbackup

  • NOTE this need to be a UNC path name because if you implement the Service to delete the files it will not work without UNC path naming convention.

Open

Save file and restart IIS.
