Custom Tab
The search area is located at the bottom of the Forms Manager and the first three tabs can work together and compromise basic searching.
The following are the different ways to search using the search box. They may be used alone or in different combinations. One or more options can be used for all selections by putting a comma between the selections.
Custom WI Fields
Custom searching is set up to search for additional fields found in various forms. Not all fields in the forms have been added. If a field is missing, email BadgerTraCS@dot.wi.gov to request the new field be added. Choose one or more field to search. Some of these are text fields and can use wild card Characters

Definable Fields
There are definable fields you can search for, definable Form fields are fields added to the Grid by the FAC.
Form Disposition Status – Used by any form that has dispositions, and example of dispositions are citations can be Issued or Voided.
Due Date – This is used by the Task form
Completed Date – This is when the completed button was last clicked by the officer.
Court Date – This is used exclusively by the citations to easily note when the court date is
Reportability Status – Some forms are required to be reported, this tells the TraCS user at a glance which state agency needs the form.
Purge Date – This is a field that is not in use at this time and is a place holder.
Referred From – This will only be used by agencies that accept forms into their system from other TraCS systems. Only DNR and DSP at this time
Referred To – If you send a crash form for the DSP’s Crash Reconstruction Unit it will note the agency here.
RMS Transmission Date – This is used by the Hosted Environment to show agencies when a specific form was processed and waiting for download into their RMS system
Evidence Location – This is used exclusively by the Evidence form for Evidence Techs to see an inventory of their evidence and where it is located
Evidence Storage Number – This is used exclusively by the Evidence form for Evidence Techs to see an inventory of their evidence and where it is located
Not Transmittable to the State – Some None reportable forms are not transmitted to the state, this is used by the batch system to skip these forms. Used by the Hosted Environment.

Check to see only locked forms
Only Forms with attachments
Check to see only forms with attachments
Searching Buttons
Search – The button refreshes the grid to the search requested.
CLEAR – the button will remove all selections in the Search Box. After you click the button press the to refresh the grid to include all forms.
Save – will save to favorites. See Favorites for more information.
