Drag and Drop Grouping
Drag and Drop Grouping
Drag and Drop grouping first needs to be set. To turn it on do the following:
Click the List Grouping submenu in the View ribbon.
Make sure to choose Advanced. It will have a check mark in front of it.
Click the List Grouping submenu in the View ribbon.
Click Drag and Drop Grouping the sub menu should now look like this:
The grid changes to look like the following:
To order by any of the columns drag and drop the column header to where the highlight is located. The grid will be modified as follows when the form name is chosen.
Any number of fields may be dragged and dropped.
Moving them around to change the order is also possible.
Note: All other sorting and filtering can be used with this feature. To remove the fields from the drag and drop area, drag them to the grid listing and they will go back to the columns. Clicking to basic removes all dragging and dropping functionality.
