Configuration Manager

As a TraCs Administrator, you should try to be familiar with operating within the configuration manager by following documentation.

Hosted agencies have limited abilities in config manager. Many times agencies do not go into config unless have an appointment with us.

Setup Tab

• External Information

  • Hosted/non-Hosted: Holds DLLs which include GPS and barcode scanners

  • Database Connection: Where your connections to your SQL server are configured

    • generally left alone unless making server address or name changes

• Transmission Tab

  • Import/Export allows you to configure what file types for certain forms get created and where they are generated. First section that needs to be configured for RMS file transmission

  • Hosted/non-hosted: Communications allows you to configure where the exported files are to be sent to for its end location. You would only really configure your RMS settings in here
