No server management for hosted agencies
Non-Hosted TraCS Administrators are responsible for maintaining the SQL Server, IIS Server, and with the new baseline, batch server as well. Or at the very least, know how to access the server and work with IT in maintaining it.
SQL Server
Houses your agency’s data in separate databases
SQL Server will need to be 2016 or newer for new baseline
IIS Server (Web Services Fuction)
Allows communication between the MDCs and the Server where your data is housed
IIS server local drive is your agency’s network share
Batch Server
Runs automated systems like transmission and table updates
