UFAD Validation and Transmission

Validation and Transmission

The Use of Force form offers a two-stage validation process. The first stage Preliminary validations are written to allow for minimal information to be transmitted to DOJ before the investigation is complete. Additional information can be added to a transmitted form and retransmitted. Once the investigation is completed, the form may be opened again, and additional information can be added. Once you complete the Preliminary validation, you are prompted to continue to the secondary stage or Final Validation. Once you complete the Final Validation, you can transmit the complete form to DOJ. If additional information is needed to be added to a form in Final Validation status, it may be opened, and the new information added. Validate and transmit again.
