Project Description	Taking the current Inspection form and spitting off the MCSAP so the inspection form is state inspections and MCSAP is federal inspections. This was previously added to the Inspection form but failed to pass certification by the Feds. It failed for 3 reasons Disabled Alaska rules rules were only batch (validation) rules not popup rules Could not connect to the safety site to look up carriers.

What other options besides TraCS were considered?	SafeSpect
Why is TraCS the best Alternative for this project?	SafeSpect is disliked and missing features that were advertised.
Does this project require modifications to TraCS baseline software or upgrade to a new version?	No, All features missing the first time have been added to the baseline inspection form.
Project Dependencies	Time needed by the lead developer.

Description	Federal Mandated Inspections
Who will be collecting this data?	DSP and any Law Enforcement certified as a inspector able to conduct this level of inspections.
Will there be new interfaces to third party data sources to import data into the form?	Yes, in current baseline inspection form. Need to program it to work for new WI form.
Who will be using this data?	Used by DSP and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
How will data be transmitted to external parties listed in the previous question?	No
