Learn Center issues completing training

There are several things you can do to try and get the course to run correctly:

  1. Use a PC with a Windows 10 or higher operating system.

  1. Use the Chrome browser. Clear the browser cache before the next step.

  1. Open the PeopleSoft window in Chrome, then open the LearnCenter and launch the training.

  1. Make sure that your internet connection is working well. Some courses take a little longer to start and then buffer a lot during playback if the internet connection is slow. This may cause the course to lose connection with the Cornerstone website and incorrectly record completion information.

  1. Check that pop-ups are allowed for LearnCenter and for the course.

  1. Make sure that the LearnCenter and course website addresses are marked as “safe” on your machine.

  1. Open and complete every link, option number or activity in all of the slides in the presentation.  These must be completed before the course will mark itself completed.

For help with allowing pop-ups or listing web addresses as “safe”, please contact the DOT Service Center.

If none of these work, we can mark your training complete if your supervisor sends us a short note with the following information:

  • Their name and the fact that they are your supervisor.

  • The name of the class.

  • Their acknowledgement that you have completed the class.

Hope this helps,
