  1. From the Case Information screen, click Add to open a new task form

  2. Click OK to edit the form

  3. The Police Number should automatically be filled with the case number

  4. Enter through the Task Disposition. (This will be automatically changed to assigned when change entering in a primary officer ID).

  5. Enter the Task Name/type to be assigned.

  6. Enter through the Percent Complete field.

  7. Click Current Date

  8. Enter the Due Date

  9. Tab through Completed Date.

  10. Fill task Notes as needed.  Ask your supervisor

  11. Fill out Task Leader in the Role field

  12. Tab through Hours Spent field

  13. Click Current Date for the Assigned Date

    1. Tab through Started Date

    2. Tab through Stop Date

    3. Tab through Individual Notes

  14. Put in Task Leader TraCS login name.  This will fill out the rest of the fields in the assignment group.  This will also change the task Disposition to Assigned and transfer ownership of the form to the Task Leader.

  15. Fill out the Location group as needed.  Ask your supervisor.

  16. Click Validate

  17. Click OK

  18. You should notice that the case status is now validated, and the Task Disposition is also assigned. 

  19. Click Close Case  to close the forms viewer.

  20. The Task Leader should use the uncompleted tasks Advanced Search to get a list of all the tasks assigned to them.

  21. Once the Task Leader is finished

    1. Edit the form to fill out the Individual Notes and other fields as needed

    2. Validate

    3. Complete Button

  22. Click Close Case to close the forms viewer.
