New Badger TraCS Features Overview: Fall 2024
In addition to our regular updates to further streamline Badger TraCS to be as user-friendly, efficient, and intuitive as possible, Badger TraCS has implemented several significant improvements for the Fall 2024 Pack Update. We have highlighted some of the changes below:
New Form: Vehicle Custody
This form was requested to keep track of vehicles towed by Law Enforcement Agencies. There is a companion Analysis report to show all vehicles still being monitored by the agency.

1 Agency Table will need to be populated prior to using the form.
Two agency tables already in use will be available on this form
It comes with an analysis report ready for release in 2025
UFAD Updates:
This form was updated both for DOJ and for agencies that would like to collect a little more information. UFAD Form Article
Specific fields that require a “pending” value are now available which is required for Preliminary Validation, pending will not be a valid option for Final Validation. All fields marked in the Article will have the new pending option. Look for the Yellow Info Panels
DOJ reviewed and revised Field Titles/Databar/F2 helps
If you are unsure about a specific field in a TraCS form, select the field and press the F2 key on your keyboard.
New fields were requested of the FAC, they are all optional fields
ECD Group, for agencies that want to track ECD deployments.
Subject Group ad new field added.

DOJ requested a new field be added to the Other Involved Agencies Group

Blood Draw Updates
The State Lab of Hygiene requested the following changes. They can be seen in the Alcohol Form Article.
All fields are now available,
New Accident Doc No. is now available to put your crash number into. This will autopopulates if replicated from a Crash or ELCI
New Name of Person Collecting Specimen is available and printable.
Collection Time is required to be accurate, results can be thrown out of court if incorrect.
State Inspection Form
Removed all Federal inspection requirements to be included in a new separate form releasing at a later date.
Analysis Reports Releasing
New Report – Pursuit Summary
Removing – Partial Info Lookup being removed, use master index instead.
Fixed – Duplicate forms
