December 2024 FAC Request List

ITID - 1995 (“Request Access” Button When Form is Locked)

I have an idea. There are times when someone will re-open another user’s form in Badger TraCS and at times, walk away from the computer while the form is still open. Then, the owner of the form or another user tries to preform actions on the form, but it is locked by the other user. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a “Request Access” button? The frustrated user finding their form locked could then click that button which in turn would generate an automated notification to the user that left the form open with and an option to click “Allow/Relinquish Access.” With the web hosting, I feel this is possible. Your thoughts?

Respectfully,

We first need to discuss if we want it then if yes this would be a request of the TraCS vendor. Notifications are only email we don’t have messaging in TraCS

ITID - 2002 (Audit Log Analysis Report for when User Logs in)

Admins at an Agency would be able to look up a specific persons Primary ID and see issues within the audit log

log in attempts

change passwords

etc.

ITIS - 2018 (Arrest: Update Probable Cause Affidavit to 2024 version)

Hello,

I use the “Arrest” Tab on TraCs to generate a Probable Cause Affidavit for my in custody reports. The Probable Cause Affidavit has been changed in May 2024. Officers no longer need a Public Notary to sign a PC Affidavit.

Can we update TraCs to reflect this change in the form? It looks like we still have the 2021 version still.

Than k you!
