Local Ordinances
Court Appointments, Court Schedules, Court Blackout dates
Custom Text, Shortcuts, etc.
If you do, TraCS staff will have to grab the Users/Support databases and start over.
This will delay your agency getting into the hosted environment and we will need to reschedule the installation.
Archive all your forms (except your Configuration Wizard and ELCI Inventory Forms) before your Migration Appointment
The day before the migration appointment:
All forms should be end shifted from all the squad cars.
Make sure you do an office end shift once all squad cars have completed their end-shifting.
If this isn’t done, forms will be missing.
Your agency should transmit all forms prior to the migration appointment.
Make sure to transmit all time sensitive forms
Citations with DA routing.
Citations with court dates.
Crash forms.
Make sure all TraCS computers have enough ELCI citation number to last two weeks.
Plan on having all your TraCS computers available during the 2nd appointment.
During the 2nd appointment your computers will have TraCS reinstalled.
Try and have as many computers connected to the internet at one time.
This will speed up the installations.
If a special User name and password (Admin account) is required to update your computers, have that available at your 2nd appointmentYou will need to make sure your Microsoft Windows accounts are able to install software on each machine. Having your Windows Local Admin account would be the best.
